The rules, guidelines, and licensing agreements for PHP Bulletin.
Last Updated: May 24, 2026
Welcome to PHP Bulletin. These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your purchase, download, and use of the PHP Bulletin software product ("Software") developed and distributed by NetArt Media ("Company," "we," "us," or "our").
By purchasing, downloading, or installing the Software, you automatically agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you may not use or install the Software.
Upon purchase, NetArt Media grants you a perpetual, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Software based on the tier you selected:
Strict Redistribution Ban: Regardless of your license tier, you are strictly prohibited from reselling, freely distributing, or syndicating the PHP Bulletin source code as a standalone software product, either modified or unmodified. You may not list the Software on digital marketplaces or open-source repositories.
We provide you with 100% unencrypted source code so you have complete control over your platform. However, NetArt Media retains all core copyright, title, and intellectual property rights to the original PHP Bulletin software architecture, databases, and design templates.
You retain full ownership of your domain name, your specific database contents (including all user data, posts, and topics generated on your forum), and any custom graphical assets (logos, branding) you upload to the Software.
Your purchase includes a complimentary standard installation service and technical support period (12 months for Standard, 24 months for Enterprise).
Because the Software contains unencrypted digital source code, our refund policy is strictly conditional. We offer a 100% full refund only if our technical team is unable to complete the standard installation on your web host. Once the Software is successfully installed, all sales are final. Please review our full Refund Policy for complete details.
PHP Bulletin is a self-hosted platform. You are solely responsible for all content, data, and activities that occur on your server. NetArt Media has no access to your database, does not monitor your community, and holds no liability for the user-generated content hosted on your installation.
You agree not to use the Software to host illegal content, distribute malware, or facilitate activities that violate the laws of your local jurisdiction or the jurisdiction of your hosting provider.
The Software is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE," without warranty of any kind, express or implied. While we rigorously test our code, NetArt Media does not warrant that the Software will be completely error-free, immune to unauthorized hacking attempts, or compatible with all third-party plugins and customized server configurations.
In no event shall NetArt Media, its developers, or its affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages (including, but not limited to, loss of data, loss of revenue, server downtime, or business interruption) arising out of the use or inability to use the Software. Our total liability to you for any damages shall not exceed the original purchase price you paid for the Software license.
We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms of Use at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to this page. Your continued use of the Software and our support services following any modifications constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
